About Us

Faded Floral is an independent British brand which was founded by textile designer Cécile Woodward. The brand takes it's inspiration from french vintage textiles, re-worked and given a fresh vintage edge. Living between London and Lyon in France, where her grandfather was a local antiquaire trader, much of Cécile's childhood was spent in french flee markets and on London’s Portobello Road, which inspired a life long passion for textiles and all things vintage. After working in London as an interior designer she later established The Faded Floral Company and named the brands first fabric after her daughter ‘Camille’ in 2010. 

All Faded Floral Fabrics are hand printed in England by traditional screen printing methods to give a wonderful vintage inspired feel. All our fabrics and accessories are designed exclusively by us, and we are proud to work with the some of the best independent textile printers in England, as well as artisan manufacturers who produce our hand made accessories.  

Our designs are created to work within all interiors. The colours are delightfully simple and fresh on classic oyster linen and cotton, and our accessories strive to be unique, well made and a little quirky. All our fabrics are sold by the meter and are perfect for bespoke curtains, upholstery and interior design.
